PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN ROAD FROM LAST HOUSE ON MOCKINGBIRD HILL LANE LEADING UP TO PARKING LOT. THERE WILL BE SIGNS. OVERFLOW PARKING PLEASE GO INTO THE NEIGHBORHOOD STREETS.

Course Marking & Monitoring (tentative)

Course markings for both the 100K and 50K events will be on the trail with colored ribbons. Please refer to the map to review colors. It looks a lot more complicated than it is. Aid Station Captains, course monitors, and volunteers will have reminder signage to remind you where you are going. We also use signage with arrows to differentiate between the 100K and 50K courses.

1. The 100Km will follow glow-sticks and pink ribbon during the dark morning hours. 50Kers will have daylight and follow pink ribbon. There will also be plenty of course monitors to make sure you remain on course.

2. 100Kers will continue to follow Pink ribbons to Wood Rd #1, Lexington, Kennedy Rd, and Wood Rd #2,  Aid Stations. 100K runners will then return to Hicks Rd #2 and will follow Orange Ribbons into Quicksilver until the last A/S at Bull Run #2. From there, 100k runners will follow yellow ribbon and glow sticks to the finish.

3. 50Kers At Hicks Rd A/S will turn around and follow the Orange Ribbons until their last aid station at Bull Run A/S. From there, 50k runners will follow yellow ribbon and glow sticks to the finish.

DROP BAGS

  • Please have your drop bags clearly labeled with your Number and Aid Station.
  • Drop bags will not be taken at Packet Pick-up on Friday night.
  • 100K Drop Locations: Hicks Rd 1 & 2, Lexington, Mockingbird (Finish Line), McAbee.
  • 100K Drop bags from Lexington should be back to Mockingbird by 3pm.
  • 100K drop bags from Hicks Rd should be returned by 5pm.
  • 100K drop bags from McAbee should be in by 6PM & 8:30. If you can’t wait, then McAbee is easily accessible by car and short walk or after the event shall you desire it earlier.
  • 50K Drop bags: Hacienda, McAbee, Mockingbird (Finish Line)
  • No Coolers. No Hefty Bags. No body bags.
  • Please keep your drop bags to a size no bigger than two shoe boxes and that’s big ☺
