QSER Course Preview Runs

To help prepare you for a successful race, we are again setting up series of group runs to preview the course. These are fairly informal affairs, geared more towards familiarizing you with the trails and stopping for photos than towards setting CRs on Strava. We have broken up the runs into three separate courses, covering most of the 100K race. We considered previewing the entire race course, but we thought that we’d keep a little something as a surprise for race day. The three different course previews are as follows:

Course Preview Run #1: Hacienda

Distance: 17 miles. 100K race miles 0 to 6.1, 37.8 to 46.7, and 60.7 to 62

Please let us know if you’ll be joining us by RSVP’ing at the Facebook Event links above. This lets us plan for any water drops or post-run snacks, as well as how many Quicksilver Running Club members we will need to be group leaders / tour guides. If you don’t do Facebook but would like to come out, then please just shoot us a message at quicksilver100k50krd@gmail.com and we’ll make a note that you’re coming.

Note: with the recent forest fires causing air quality issues, we will cancel the run in case the air quality is not safe to run. Please check the Facebook event page the night before.
